Ras Alhague
A Polish digital artist and photographer whose work explores the themes of sexuality, gender, and identity through the use of self-portraiture and glitch aesthetics. They refer to their artistic approach as “post-fetish,” reflecting their interest in exploring the complex and often fraught relationships between power and desire. Their work incorporates elements of fetishization as a means of regaining control over their body and digital distortion to subvert traditional notions of beauty and identity, re-appropriating power dynamics that have historically governed the representation of the human form in art. They are also the first and so far the only host of the soon-to-be critically-acclaimed glitch art trivia show, Glitchardy!
