Git Workshop
As part of glitchLAB 2k26 where we set out to find | utilise | promote historical glitch art software, we invite you to our upcoming workshop on the use of Git.
A crash course into Git as a tool for software development and collaboration. The workshop itself will be used as content to create a shared Git repository as we go along. Mistakes are encouraged for the learning experience.
This workshop will present the core concepts of Git, focused on usage through a command-line terminal.
Requirements: A computer with a working git installation and a command-line terminal. Use of Linux is encouraged.
Ramiro Polla [BE/BR]
Ramiro Polla is a software developer and multimedia hacker with over 20 years of experience in open-source development, notably contributing to FFmpeg. His work explores image and video formats through reverse-engineering and experimentation, treating codecs and file structures as creative material. He develops techniques that expose and repurpose the inner workings of digital media, with a focus on codec art.
